Our Story
The Republic States' Premier Gateway
Felix Lego City International Airport — known by its IATA code FLX and ICAO designation KFLX — is the primary international airport serving Lego City and the surrounding Republic States metropolitan area. As the Republic's busiest and most strategically positioned air hub, FLX connects millions of travelers each year to destinations across the Pacific, the Atlantic, and throughout the Republic States.
The airport is named in honor of Felix, a founding figure in Lego City's civic and infrastructure heritage. From its earliest single-terminal origins to today's two-terminal complex, FLX has grown alongside the city it serves — always pushing the standard of what an airport in the Republic States can be.
FLX is operated by the City Metro Department of Airports, a public authority under the Republic States Department of Infrastructure and Transport. The airport operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, supporting 9 airlines, two world-class terminals, and a full on-site Republic States Customs and Border Protection facility — the only such facility in Lego City.
Terminal 1, our international gateway, underwent a complete refurbishment completed in May 2026, emerging as one of the most modern international terminal facilities in the region. Terminal 2, our domestic hub, was remodeled in September 2025, bringing upgraded concourses, expanded security lanes, and improved passenger amenities to domestic travelers.

A Legacy of Growth
Founded
Airport Founding
Felix Lego City Airport opens as a single-terminal facility serving the growing aviation needs of Lego City and the Republic States. Named in honor of Felix, a pioneer of Lego City's civic infrastructure, the airport begins with modest operations but an ambitious vision for the future.
Expansion
International Service Launches
FLX receives its international gateway designation from the Republic States Railway and Transportation Authority. The first international flights begin service, with British Airways and DreamPacific Airways as the founding international carriers. Republic States Customs and Border Protection establishes its first on-site processing facility.
Growth
Terminal 2 Opens for Domestic Operations
As domestic traffic surges, FLX opens Terminal 2 as a dedicated domestic hub. Southwest Airlines and American Airlines anchor the new terminal with expanded frequency. The FLX Terminal Connector begins operations, linking the two terminals for connecting passengers.

Terminal 2 Remodel Complete
Terminal 2 completes a comprehensive remodel, unveiling expanded Concourse C gates, upgraded security screening with CLEAR lanes, modern dining and retail facilities, and improved accessibility throughout. The remodel positions Terminal 2 as one of the most passenger-friendly domestic terminals in the Republic States.

Terminal 1 Grand Reopening — Fully Refurbished
Terminal 1 reopens following an extensive refurbishment that transforms FLX's international gateway into one of the most modern facilities in the region. New concourses A and B, upgraded RS CBP processing, premium airline lounges, expanded duty-free retail, panoramic airfield views, and state-of-the-art passenger amenities mark a new era for international travel at FLX. United Airlines and GlobeStar Airlines join the terminal as new carriers.

Curbside Vehicle Access Suspended — FLX Shuttle Program Launched
Effective May 13, 2026, private vehicle curbside access to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is suspended as part of FLX's commitment to sustainable, efficient airport operations. The FLX Consolidated Parking Lot and dedicated shuttle busway program launches, with buses running every 2–5 minutes and every 90 seconds during peak rush hours on a fully dedicated busway.
