A full RS Department of Agriculture inspection area staffed by Agriculture Specialists. All international baggage passes through this area after primary CBP inspection.
Equipped with X-ray screening, detector dog teams, and physical inspection tables. Prohibited agricultural items are confiscated and may be incinerated on-site.
Dedicated customs examination area for detailed inspection of declared goods, commercial merchandise, currency, and high-value items. Duty assessment and collection is handled here.
Currency declarations over $10,000 RS must be reported and may be verified. Commercial goods importers should have all invoices and documentation ready.
Secure storage facility for items detained or seized by CBP or Agriculture officers. Travelers who have items detained will receive a written receipt detailing the item and grounds for detention.
Appeals and inquiries regarding seized property can be initiated at the CBP Administrative Office (Level 1, east corridor).
RS Public Health Service Officers are stationed at FLX CBP to respond to travelers exhibiting signs of illness or arriving from areas with active public health alerts.
Medical assessment rooms are adjacent to the secondary inspection suite. Travelers with medical concerns should notify a CBP Officer immediately upon arrival.
